Morgan Township Zoning

Morgan Township has its own set of zoning regulations, independent of Butler County. Zoning came to Morgan Township by a voter referendum in Nov. 1988. Morgan Township decided to hire its own zoning administrator to oversee its zoning in 1995. Meetings:

Zoning Commission: A meeting will be held Sept. 29, 2014 to discuss changes in the Zoning Resolution. The meeting location is the Township Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Rd. Okeana, Ohio at 8:00pm. 

Board of Zoning Appeals: A hearing will be held on Wed. Oct 15, 2014 to hear an appeal to start a truck repair business in an agriculture zoned district at 1678 Chapel Rd. The hearing begins at 7:00pm at the Township Administration building.
